Shawn Sugarman - Board Member
Sugarman is a 27-year veteran executive who has served in numerous CEO roles. He was most recently CEO of Evolution Fresh, Inc. a California based fresh juice business acquired in November 2011 by Starbucks. In this role, Mr. Sugarman secured private equity financing to install and successfully commercialize the first large-scale high pressure processed juice facility in the US. In this role he became aware of AG and the potential of using Super Critical CO2 to purify juices.
Prior roles included: CEO of Sonance, a leader in custom whole-home audio solutions, President of Odwalla, Inc, a super premium juice and smoothie company and President of Minute Maid Canada, a division of The Coca-Cola Company. Sugarman spent the first 19 years of his career with Coca-Cola Company in various financial and general management positions.
He holds a BA in Economics from Principia College and an MBA from the University of Texas.
